My double room was charming with three windows overlooking the street. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the housekeeping service was excellent. It's ideally located just below the castle.

The Red Lion Hotel mesmerized us with its old-world charm and spacious room that gave the feeling of our own little apartment. The panoramic views from our window were a highlight.

missingWrote a review on 05 Novcharming decorspacious layouttiring trek
The decor in the room delivers a charming old-world ambiance, paired with a surprisingly spacious layout that feels more like an apartment. Views from the top room include the main street and even the Petrin tower.
Checking in requires a trek 60 meters up the hill to a different hotel, which isn't ideal-especially with luggage. The absence of a hotel restaurant or bar raises questions about its four-star status, and while the breakfast is served elsewhere, the room's bed quality is questionable with reports of uncomfortable mattresses and back pain.
